A huge number of ancient and palaeontological objects were found by police officers in two large warehouses in Kassandra, Chalkidiki.
The owner is a 72-year-old man.Th findings came to the "light" after a police operation, for illegal occupation of the disputed warehouses by the 72-year-old.
In the field research, in which a member of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chalkidiki participated, found a section of marble statue with engraved human figure (length 46 cm), 42 bronze and 133 metal coins, a silver coin, parts of stone foundations, a peak of bronze Arrows, amphora segments, clay figurine, as well as stone tools made of quartz, pyrite and other stones.
The findings were sent to the relevant Archaeological Service for further consideration.
